Cosmic Maggot

Hello! I’m a self-taught visual artist specialising in illustration, painting, digital art, and recently now branching out into street art. Working as a graphic designer, I enjoy digital processes and creating colourful, character-led pieces, but what I love most is bringing those characters and stories off the page or screen and into real, shared public spaces where people can encounter them in everyday life. My style is defined by bright colours, bold outlines, and slightly surreal, psychedelic twists on familiar things. I draw inspiration from animals, nature, feminine power, bits of everyday culture, and local icons like pints of Guinness, reimagining things as expressive playful forms. My pieces can shift between playful and a little grotesque, but they always aim to spark joy, curiosity, and a sense of fun whilst telling a story. Street art is especially meaningful to me as it represents a voice of the community and a chance to reclaim and re-energise shared space. Being new to the street art scene, I’m so excited to be part of HTN 26 alongside other incredible artists and to share my work at a larger, more public scale.
