Midweek Magic Club
MWMC is a two and a half hour event which is all about the close up. Close up magic that happens right at your table. It was the first event that Seedhead ever set up and it’s still one of our favourites because it changes the dynamic of what it means to go to a show. It’s an event that allows you to see old friends or make new ones because the micro performances are spread out over the evening, allowing you to socialise and have a beer in-between. There’s really not another night like it in Belfast.
Street Art Walking Tour
Belfast is a weird, passionate, messed up place. The legacy of our conflict is about more than people, it’s about place. It’s about how the people of Belfast navigate this divided city, and how we build shared spaces for people of all backgrounds to co-exist.

Hit the North Exhibition Launch & Auction 2024
This year to launch our Festival programme our friends at The Black Box have agreed to host an exhibition in the best room in Belfast!
He’s not right in the head
FGB is a Belfast based street artist. His work often highlights important issues shedding light on topics that are often overlooked or ignored.
The Incrementals - KMG
As it's Hit the North season and we had to cancel our last recording we're doing two Incremental recordings in four days. KMG is in town so we're going to go to our usual Wednesday spot in a coffee shop called Hjem which is in the UU Belfat Building off Cathedral Gardens.
We first met Katie in 2022 when we invited her to paint at Hit the North. We gave her this wall that was massive and she smashed it so next year we gave her the biggest wall we've ever painted as part of the festival at Trademarket
In a short time she's become a firm friend of Seedhead and therefore a perfect person for an Incremental's podcast
As usual tickets are free but limited and the recording will be released on our Patreon shortly after the event.
Here's a bit about her from her website...
KMG is a Scottish based artist who has been making work on the street for over a decade.
Her recent work explores themes of mythology, community and the history of our local landscapes, using Characters as a means of connecting with the viewer and engaging them in dialogue. Using these themes to question the connections of our environments to our heritage and cultural identity and how these translate to the current day creates a heavy presence and thread within her work.
With a strong belief in the power of art, KMG also regularly works with community groups, healthcare and educational institutions to help make art as accessible as possible.

The Incrementals - Caolan Mcbride
A new quarterly event from Seedhead Arts looking at the specifics of being a independent creative. Doors at 5pm, we start about 5.30.
How does being an individual who’s in business differ from a corporation? What do you want from ‘work’? How do you achieve work/life balance when you believe that what you’re doing is important? AND WHATS THE BLOODY POINT OF IT ALL????
In this our eighth event we'll be talking to our old friend Caolan McBride
As usual tickets are free but limited and the recording will be released on our Patreon shortly after the event.
Chances are it's incremental...
