HIT THE NORTH STREET ART MARKET
Call it lazy or call it leaning into genius, when we do something and it works we tend to just do it again so once again this year we’ll be launching the festival weekend with a Street Artist Market in the magnificent surrounds of the Bullitt courtyard.
Hit the North Student Jam
Hit the North Student Jam brings together this curated group of Belfast School of Art students and Graduates in Residence for a live street art event at the Belfast campus. Join us on May 1st, 3–6pm, to see large-scale works take shape, alongside a guest Hit the North artist painting a major wall from a cherry picker.
The Pre-Block Party Party
It’s become a tradition at Hit the North that we get the whole gang together the night before the big event in the John Hewitt Bar.
Hit the north Block Party 2026
This year’s event will feature 50 local and international artists, with an array of styles and techniques on show.

Belfast is a weird, passionate, messed up place. The legacy of our conflict is about more than people, it’s about place. It’s about how the people of Belfast navigate this divided city, and how we build shared spaces for people of all backgrounds to co-exist.

Midweek Magic Club
MWMC is a two and a half hour event which is all about the close up. Close up magic that happens right at your table. It was the first event that Seedhead ever set up and it’s still one of our favourites because it changes the dynamic of what it means to go to a show. It’s an event that allows you to see old friends or make new ones because the micro performances are spread out over the evening, allowing you to socialise and have a beer in-between. There’s really not another night like it in Belfast.
