street art events

We’ve been running street art events for decades.

Why settle for one artist when we can bring 20-50

We have been commissioning large scale street art for over ten years, but the thing we like to do the most is what’s called a ‘Jam’. A street art jam is when a number of artists come together in the one space and all paint side by side, like the way musicians jam and make music only with spray paint. There’s a very clear delineation in the minds of street artists between the concept of a commission, where they’re painting to a brief, or sometimes even recreating other people’s work to scale, and a jam where they get to hone their skills, develop their style, and have fun with other artists.

Over the years we realised that the work being produced at these jams, was not just of equal quality to private commissions, but it was much better. When the artists were allowed to paint from their heart is it really a surprise that the work was much more impactful than that designed by committee? So we set about trying to develop of format whereby clients could feel a degree of agency and be assured that the work would meet their objectives, while at the same time allowing artists to feel like they were making their own art and subsequently shine. Significantly, this approach also allows us to commit to painting big areas at a much reduced cost than if commissioned commercially.
