Seedhead Arts devised and delivered this transformational project in an underpass adjacent to the newly refurbished York Street station in central Belfast for Translink

The aim of the scheme was to make the underpass feel safer and provide way finding to and from the station. Working closely with DFI and Translink we designed a scheme that celebrated movement to and from the city, theming one side of the underpass as the countryside and one side as the city. Working with 18 artists we not only painted both sides of the tunnel but commissioned a poem which was painted on the ceiling.
